The Church at Estrella Start Here

Hi and Welcome to The Church at Estrella.

My name is Charles Scheffe. I am the Lead Pastor. My family and I have lived here in Estrella for a little over a year. Many of you are just like us. You came up here, saw the palm tree lined streets, the twin lakes and fountains, the gorgeous mountain views and lots of amenities including great schools and instantly fell in love. WE knew this was place we wanted to raise our family. It was perfect!

But if you are like my family, not everything is perfect. Of course we don’t talk about that out loud, but we all know it’s true. I need all the help I can get. And the church is perfect place to gather with other people who are just like me, not perfect, and learn from them, grow with them, and serve our community together. We desire to see Estrella become the best it can be, and it starts with me.

I pray you will join us each Sunday as we explore the Bible and how to live out the life of a Jesus Follower.

The Church at Estrella believes in three main concepts - Gather, Grow & Go.

Gather, for worship to be in relationship with Christ, while being free to invite anyone to join you regardless of their personal journey. Grow, we provide opportunities for you to grow deeper in your walk with God and also deeper in relationship with others (community groups, men's groups, park gatherings, ect). When growth is happening, then going is a natural result (outreach events, community give back, ect)

And when you come you will hear us say that we believe The Church exists to Lead People to Be the Church. Gather, Grow, Go is what we think that is, and this is what we think that looks like.
