The Church at Estrella offers programs for kids who are birth through 5th grade.

We feel that church is not only for adults, but for children of all ages. In TCE Kids, we work hard to create safe environments for children to attend and hear the gospel in a way that they can understand and apply. We do this by teaching our kids what it means to be a Jesus Follower, and introduce them to who God is.

Each weekend, we worship through song, tell stories from the Bible, play games, and much more. All this while having tons of fun! Your children will be in a safe environment where they will learn about Jesus and have a fun time doing it.

Visiting us for the first time? No fear!

We have a parking lot specifically reserved for families, because we LOVE families, off of W Westar Drive. Look for the upright flag marked Kids! You will be greeted by a leader eager to meet your family and assist you with our check in processes. Once inside you’ll learn how Kids World works. We’ll be there every step of the way (right up to your child’s room), so feel free to ask questions!

As a parent, there is nothing more comforting than knowing you will be dropping off your child in a safe environment. The Church At Estrella places the highest emphasis and value on safety. Volunteers at TCE Kids and TCE Kids Jr are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check Because of this we have a secure check-in system in place.

How Secure Check-in Works

Our valued leaders will work with you to get some much needed information, including: family member’s name, child’s name and birthday, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.)

Upon check-in, you’ll receive matching identification stickers. Your child/children will need to wear the name tag portion and you will need to keep the matching tag.

After the service, you’ll show the TCE Kids leader your matching tag in order for your child to be released from his/her room. In addition to having a secure check-in/out, all of our volunteers have passed a national and state background check.

What we teach

At TCE, we understand that school age children are at a stage of life where they are absorbing everything that is around them. They’re social as well as energetic, so there’s lots of interaction with their peers and leaders during both small and large group times.

Our Kinder through 5th graders dig into the Bible to experience who God is and fuel their passion for loving others through real relationship with Him. They’re given opportunity to respond to God’s unconditional love for them through worship and ministry.

Contained classroom equipped for learning and play, Private Restroom, Service uses Hands On Curriculum. Please feel free to bring a water bottle.
